The Preaching Insight (PI) is a team of Spirit-filled pastors, preachers, teachers, and youth leaders who has passion to share their ministry experiences to colleagues around the world. The Team believes that every minister has unique (or common) experiences and lessons that peers can learn from. Therefore, we encourage contributions based on your personal walk with God.
Subscribe to our FREE newsletter insight[news] that comes out every first Monday of the month. And you will receive fresh ministry articles, latest sermon outline, sermon tips, mini sermons, articles on growing churches in the 21st Century, and lessons on Discipleship that are delivered straight into your Inbox.
What is the primary purpose of Preaching Insight?
As indicated by the slogan below the Website's logo, PI aims to helping Christian church ministers effectively handle and deliver the Word of God. The apostle Paul has inspired us with his words to Timothy: "Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction" (2 Timothy 4:2 NIV).
Also, we aspire to tap, hone, and nurture potential preachers, teachers, and church leaders by sharing the wealth of our ministry experiences. The core of the website is to share with you our sermon outlines, sermon tips, sermonettes, and how-to-preach articles to help you prepare, organise, meditate, and deliver a sermon or a lesson.
Please see Our Purpose to catch the whole vision of the website.
Who is the target audience of Preaching Insight?
Our target audience is composed of Christian church ministers: pastors, preachers, teachers, missionaries, evangelists, elders, cell group leaders, youth leaders, and other church workers. Of course, we welcome everyone who has a heart for ministry.
How can Preaching Insight help me as a minister?
The best person to minister to a minister is a minister. The team has a combined 50-year hands-on experience on pastoring, preaching, teaching, and youth leading. We aim to inspire you through the Ministry Life articles that are based on our personal experiences and revelation knowledge from the Lord. We also aim to equip the Youth Leaders (and potential Youth Leaders) through the Lead the Youth Leader articles.
How can Preaching Insight improve my preaching ability?
Aside from sharing with you our sermon outlines, we will teach you the different phases of sermon preparation, the easier way. This includes how to develop and organise a topic, text, theme, introduction, the main body, conclusion, illustration. A well-organised outline is ineffective until it is delivered behind the pulpit with full-blast anointing. All of our insights combined with yours equate an improved and empowered preaching. Also, our sermon tips, which are categorized into different aspects of preaching, will certainly lift your preaching ministry to a higher ground.
Why is Preaching Insight called a global community of Christian ministers?
Preaching Insight is more than an online learning tool. We also aim to carry each other's burden as we pray for one another. We would like to hear from you how the Lord has made you victorious. These are the reasons why we encourage you to post your prayer requests and testimonies in the Upper Room section. Let others pray for you and be victorious over your burdens.
While you are in the Upper Room, please join us in the discussion of different ministerial topics as you hear the voices and opinions of other ministers. You can also post your church events and activities, all for free!
Do I get any freebies?
Yes! Almost 60% of PI's content is FREE. Everything that is under the For Everyone menu is FREE.
What does the Newsletter offer?
insight[news] is a free monthly electronic
that is mailed straight to the Inbox of the subscribers. It contains the latest sermon outline and its corresponding devotional, a sermon tip, a mini sermon, the latest feature articles on Learn to Preach, Lead the Youth Leader, Ministry Life, approaches to 21st century church, and discipleship lesson for new Christians.
How is a Sermon Devotional linked with a Sermon Outline?
Each sermon outline has its corresponding sermon devotional. Although they have the same topic and text, the devotional exhorts the text in a different angle. The devotional is meant to inspire the preacher as he prepares for the sermon he has selected.
Of course, a devotional can stand on its own. Feel free to also use it during your quiet time with the Lord.
Visit Us in the Upper Room
Come and meet us in the Upper Room!
It was the place where the 120 disciples gathered themselves to strengthen each other in intense praying, fellowshipping, and sharing right after Jesus went up to Heaven to be with His Father. We have the 21st Century version of the Upper Room. And it has the same purpose as with the original one, but with more features.
Our Upper Room’s objective is to empower the global community of ministers by their peers. It has four Forums: Noticeboard, Prayer Requests, Testimonies, and Discussion.
Post your church events or activities in the Noticeboard Forum. Post your needs in the Prayer Requests Forum. We welcome your praise reports in the Testimonies Forum. If you would like to hear from other ministers about their view on specific topic or burden, let us know through the Discussions Forum.
Come and let’s meet up there!
